Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Seguin, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:

Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.

Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.

Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Seguin, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.

Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.

2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.

3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.

Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

SEGUIN, Texas — Residents along Link Road and State Highway 46 in Seguin have reported sightings of a large cat, sparking speculation on social media that it could be a jaguarundi, a relative of the jaguar.
Reports of the mysterious feline extend north towards Spring Branch, prompting questions about the implications of such sightings.
Rachel Malstaff, Director of Mammals at the San Antonio Zoo, explained that jaguarundis are "a little bit bigger than, like, your average house cat... a little bit longer and leaner than an average house cat as well."
Malstaff suggested that if the animal has indeed moved this far north into Texas, it could be due to habitat destruction in northern Mexico. "As those areas get clear cut for farming, for development for people moving in, that displaces them from their native habitats. So that would be the likely cause of them moving somewhere where they don't generally live," she said.
However, Malstaff noted that it is unlikely an actual jaguarundi is in the area, as the species hasn't been spotted in Texas since the 1980s. This is supported by Texas Parks and Wildlife, which stated that jaguarundis are believed to have disappeared from Texas entirely.
"They're fairly elusive," Malstaff said. "So they stay hidden between trees and brush and shrubs, not generally, you know, going to be found where there's people around."
While jaguarundis are not typically aggressive, Malstaff advised that if someone spots an unfamiliar animal, they should keep their distance. "Reach out to the zoo. Reach out to Texas Parks and Wildlife for confirmation of what species it is," she said.

SAN ANTONIO — Part of a high-speed chase across two Texas counties was caught on camera Saturday afternoon in Seguin.
Guadalupe Country Sheriff's deputies said they were attempting to stop a wanted fugitive while a witness whipped out his phone to catch the action.
"Bro, we are straight up in a high-speed chase. It's a high-speed chase, bro!" Greg Moss of Seguin can be heard saying.
Moss told KENS 5 he was heading to New Braunfels with his family at the time when, near the Republic Plastics plans in McQueeny, they came upon a sheriff's deputy vehicle and couldn't go any future. That gave them an up-front view of the action.
First they noticed law enforcement trying to put down spike strips as a dark-colored Challenger neared, driving fast.
"I saw the sheriff pull up and at first I'm thinking, 'Oh man, somebody got pulled over,'" he said. "But when I look there's no vehicles in front of us, so I'm like, 'What are they doing?'"
Then the situation, including the black Dodge Challenger itself, took a hard left turn.
"Nothing was clicking until I saw them pull out the the spikes," said Moss. "Then there was a black vehicle or a black truck and I'm like, 'Oh, are they gonna throw it at that black truck?' That's when I heard my son in back go: 'It's a high-speed chase.'"
They captured video of the Challenger driving off road through a large grassy area, at one point driving so fast that all four wheels are briefly off the ground. Law enforcement gets nearer while staying on the road, and after the Challenger appears to briefly spin out it hops back on the street and continues to lead the chase.
Guadalupe County sheriff's deputies say they were notified of the vehicle traveling south on State Highway 130, which was being driven by a 16-year-old wanted fugitive.
When deputies attempted to stop the vehicle, the driver evaded and the pursuit continued. They say the suspect was eventually taken into custody at the 300 block of Bar H Lane.
Moss says the scene was chaotic, but he's also glad the car didn't go in their direction. He said he felt like he was watching a movie.
"It resembled the scene on 'Fast and the Furious' when they had all the cops behind them," he said. "Or 'Dukes of Hazzard' when he went airborne."

(Seguin) — The latest U.S. Census population estimates, released on May 15, 2025, highlight another year of exceptional growth for the city of Seguin, Texas. As of July 1, 2024, Seguin’s population is estimated at 38,789, representing a 7.4 percent increase from the previous year.
Seguin’s strong population growth places it among the Top 30 Fastest-Growing Cities in the United States (on a percentage basis) for communities with populations of 20,000 or more in 2023. Seguin ranks #29 nationally and #12 in Texas, affirming its rising prominence across the region and beyond.
The city also holds the title of Fastest-Growing City in the San Antonio Metro Area (2023– 2024), outpacing nearby communities such as New Braunfels, which recorded a 4.7% growth rate. Within the broader Austin–San Antonio Mega Region, Seguin ranks as the 3rd fastest-growing city, trailing only Hutto and Leander.
Looking at long-term trends, Seguin’s population has grown by 31.7 percent since 2020, making it the 23rd fastest-growing city in the U.S. and 8th fastest-growing in Texas over the past four years. Seguin is also the fastest-growing city in the San Antonio Metro Area for the 2020–2024 period and ranks 5th in the Austin–San Antonio Mega Region, behind Hutto, Georgetown, Leander, and Kyle.
The city’s rapid growth is further supported by robust residential development. Seguin currently has 27 residential subdivisions under construction and over 17,000 dwelling units in its development pipeline. Since 2020, nearly 5,000 new residential building permits have been issued—clear evidence of the high demand for housing in the community.
“Our city’s continued recognition as one of the fastest-growing in the country is a testament to the energy, investment, and collaboration happening throughout Seguin,” said Mayor Donna Dodgen. “This milestone reinforces that Seguin is a community of opportunity, resilience, and optimism—a place where people want to live, work, and build their future.”
In addition to residential growth, Seguin remains a magnet for business investment as the city works to meet the demands of its expanding population. Several major retail developments are currently under construction, set to deliver more than 140,000 square feet of new retail space and introduce national retailers such as Academy Sports + Outdoors, Hobby Lobby, Five Below, James Avery, Spec’s, and Chick-fil-A to the Seguin market.
Additional retail, commercial, and industrial developments are also in the pipeline. The ongoing expansion of both the residential and commercial sectors underscores Seguin’s emergence as a regional hub of economic and community activity.

Big cat sightings in Seguin sparks rumor of extinct Texas animal

Residents near San Antonio may have spotted a cat long believed to be extinct in Texas. In Seguin, locals are comparing recent big cat sightings to the jaguarundi — a small, elusive feline related to the jaguar. According to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD), the last confirmed sighting of a jaguarundi in Texas occurred in Brownsville in 1986.
In a private Facebook group, residents in Seguin speculated about seeing a cat about 28-32 inches long along Link Road and State Highway 46 in Seguin, about 35 miles east of San Antonio. One resident described it as a long, brownish-grayish cat, noting it didn't resemble a bobcat or mountain lion. However, many residents mentioned it could be jaguarundi.
Brad Sowder, a meteorologist for Fox San Antonio, posted about the sightings on Facebook, adding that the wildcats haven't been seen in nearly 40 years in Texas. Many people in the comments mentioned how they believe they saw a jaguarundi in San Antonio, Del Rio and other cities in South Texas. Luis Santana wrote, "Seen them down in Uvalde."
However, no confirmed sightings have been reported as of Friday, May 16. MySA reached out to TPWD for more details.
What is a jaguarundi?
A jaguarundi is slightly larger than a domestic cat, weighing 8-16 pounds, according to TPWD. Their coat is a solid color, either rusty-brown or charcoal gray. The animals live alone except during the mating season of November and December.
It's hard to spot them as they are mainly active at night. However, the wildcat also moves around during the day, often to drink water at midday.
Jaguarundis are endangered because the dense brush that provides habitat has been cleared for farming or for the growth of cities, according to TPWD. While extinct in Texas, jaguarundi still exists in Mexico. People in the lower Rio Grande Valley are working together to plant native shrubs and restore habitat for the animal, according to TPWD.
