Unmatched Real Estate Photography in New Braunfels, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Every aspect of our real estate photos, drone shots, videos, and tours are carefully engineered to bring your property to life
With a staff of highly-trained, innovative real estate photographers, there's no project too large or "out of the box" for us to handle. And we're not just talking real estate photography in the classic sense - we have successful clients in many different industries, who use our photographers for:
Interior Design
Lighting Design
Office Building
Medical Office
Landscape Design

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in New Braunfels, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

For years it was a sweet alternative to ice cream and other desserts, or the go-to reward after soccer games, shopping trips and family outings. Now, a longtime New Braunfels frozen yogurt staple is preparing to serve its final cup.
??In a Facebook post announcing the closure, Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt shared that "with a heavy heart" the New Braunfels sweet shop at Creekside will close on Monday, December 29, after 15 years in the Hill Country community.
"My landlord has decided not to renew the lease, giving us no other option but to close our doors," Orange Leaf wrote on Facebook. "I want to thank the community for the support you have given my family and me since the very beginning. Your patronage along with your smiles have meant everything to us."
Orange Leaf is inviting all New Braunfels residents to swing by for a free cup of frozen yogurt from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday (while supplies last) to give one final send off to the community staple.
The announcement sparked an outpouring of reaction from customers, many of whom described Orange Leaf as part of their family routines.
"As someone that can't do dairy, Orange Leaf is my GO TO dessert place! This breaks my heart," Melissa Schulz wrote in the comments.
"That's terrible! My girls love getting a treat from y'all while we're out shopping. Hopefully you're able to find a new location and once you're situated I'm sure business will follow," Amanda Avery commented.
"Wow! This is very sad! Our family greatly appreciate all you've done to serve the community! As an allergen family yall always had options available for our kids," Traniece Lewis wrote. "They aren’t always able to be included, but here they could. Thank you!"
Longtime customers reflected on how deeply the shop was woven into their lives.
"You have been such a staple to us the last 8 years we've lived here," Kristina Brooksher wrote. "Every special occasion, and first and last day of school was spent celebrating with a cup of frozen yogurt here for my 4 kiddos. So, thank you."

Most schools settle for animals you can find at a zoo or, at minimum, on the planet when deciding their mascots. New Braunfels High School picked something a bit more mystical, and this week the internet caught on.
The renewed attention comes from gaming creator @trodeeboy13, who posted a TikTok praising New Braunfels’ Unicorn mascot. The clip has pulled in more than 300,000 views across TikTok and Instagram since Saturday, January 10, sparking a wave of commentary, alumni pride and open disbelief that a Texas high school chose a mythical horse as its brand.
In the video, @trodeeboy13 declares:
"Your mascot is a unicorn…This single handedly might be the best high school mascot I have ever, ever seen. Is your high school mascot better than the unicorns? Shout out New Braunfels in Texas. Let's go."
Locals and alumni jumped into the comments to confirm it’s real, and to embrace it. Long Creek High School, New Braunfels ISD's new high school, even teased the newest addition to the mascots.
"Wait until he finds out we have Dragons too," the comment read.
Others chimed in with school spirit:
"Go Unicorns!!! We are mighty fighting down here in South Texas," wrote @bestnb.
"Unicorn alum turn up," added @ethanhijazi.
Not everyone focused on mythology. One commenter
winced at the pronunciation:
"Bro the way he said New Braunfels just broke my heart," @abbycadabby314 wrote.
MLB pitcher and Unicorn alum Bryce Miller weighed in with nothing but a thinking emoji, which only added to the amusement.
The Unicorn mascot goes back nearly a century. New Braunfels adopted the Unicorn in 1928, inspired by the crest of town founder Prince Carl of Solms-Braunfels, who established the German settlement in the 1840s.
But there’s a twist — it wasn’t actually a Unicorn at all. Early depictions of the crest were blurry, and what many assumed was a horn turned out to be part of a crown. The animal was a lion.
Over the decades, New Braunfels doubled down on the bit, introducing mascot characters named Eugene and Eunice, and treating the mistaken tradition as a point of pride. The district introduced its second mascot in 2024 with the opening of Long Creek High School, adopting the Dragon and extending the fantastical theme to its new school.

After more than a decade of serving the New Braunfels community, Nash Bros. Stores, a locally owned antique and gift shop, is preparing to close its doors for good.
The shop, located near the historic downtown plaza in a restored 1854 timber framed house, will shut down by the end of January once all remaining inventory is sold through a storewide clearance sale.
Nash Bros. Stores first opened in October 2012 and quickly became a staple downtown for its thoughtfully curated selection of vintage and antique collectibles, gifts and home décor. The shop was also known as an upscale, vintage-inspired fashion boutique, featuring French country décor, cotton and linen clothing, distinctive lamps, French soaps and the owners’ own Nash Bros. candle line.
Owner Yolie Nash announced the closure in a December 19, 2025 Facebook post, thanking loyal customers for their continued support.
"I want to say to all of our repeat customers, thank you from the bottom of my heart," the post read.
Julie Schneider, who worked part time at the shop for the past eight years and spoke on behalf of the owners, said the decision to close did not come easily. Both Yolie and Garry Nash are at retirement age, and shifting economic conditions made it increasingly difficult to continue.
According to Schneider, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, combined with competition from online retailers like Amazon, marked a turning point.
"It’s hard to compete with the prices," she said, adding that the pandemic "was the beginning of the end for us."
Schneider described her time at Nash Bros. Stores as some of the happiest and most fulfilling years of her career. With a background in interior decoration, Yolie brought an artistic eye to the space, creating a shopping experience that went beyond transactions, Schneider tells MySA.
"Customer service is so important, and it’s been lost over the years," Schneider said. "It’s an experience, and it’s sad that we’re losing that with small stores everywhere."
Despite the challenges, Schneider said Nash loved the store deeply, loved serving New Braunfels and will miss it immensely.
