Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Bulverde, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Additionally, clients can choose to include an interactive 2D floor plan or a 3D floorplan feature that looks like HGTV's like Room Planner. We can even include a virtual walkthrough video, walkthrough tours that are optimized for mobile devices, brand logos, and detailed buyers' tools.

Floor Plan Tours
These custom walkthroughs feature floor and photo tours that display on a premium single property website. Our floor plan tours include a stunning virtual walkthrough tour, a gallery of professional photos, an interactive 3D and 2D floorplan with an HGTV-style Room Planner, and more.
2.
Photo Tours
These tours contain professional photos from our team of photographers, displayed in a single-property premium landing page that comes with a beautiful gallery display, the virtual walkthrough video tour, along with your digital branding materials.
Along with our virtual tour packages, clients may choose additional features, including:

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Bulverde, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

BULVERDE, Texas -- Ready or not, the biggest shopping days of the year are almost here. This Saturday is Small Business Saturday.
The Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce is having a little Christmas spirit fun and getting ready for Small Business Saturday. They are putting on the first-ever area scavenger hunt.
“People are so busy this time of the year," said Christen Patterson, Bulverde Spring Branch Chamber of Commerce. "They want to do something new. They want to do something fun and be involved.”
They're hoping to get more of the community involved, especially the little ones.
“Fill out there their little form and it’s super exciting because they get it marked and then they get a little raffle ticket,” said Patterson.
Visiting five shops will get you that raffle ticket to be entered for special prizes. And bonus tickets for every purchase at the 35 participating businesses. So if you see the sign out front, go in and answer their question on the form.
“The question that we are having everybody answer is if you have an item that’s 50 cents at Bulverde Thrift Store, what color tag will it have?” said Kristina Vickers, Bulverde Thrift Store.
Kristina Vickers, the director of Bulverde Thrift Store, is hoping this will bring awareness to the nonprofit.
“The money that people spend here goes back and it feeds a lot of people, it helps fund Meals on Wheels, it helps buy turkeys for Thanksgiving for the food pantry,” said Vickers.
Stocked by donations, all proceeds go back into the community.
“Shop small, help the community, help the people that you live with and people that may need help but don't ask for help,” said Vickers.
From Rough Diamond Brewery in Kendalia to Buck and Doe’s Mercantile in San Antonio and everyone in between, they are hoping that you find your treasure this Saturday.
Forms can be form at chamber office or online. Return the form by December 6 to be entered in the raffle. All prizes are donated by those 35 participating businesses.

Bulverde (Comal County) — For over two years, a convenience store project has approached Bulverde’s outer city limits, fighting city ordinances along the way.
Bulverde’s citizen’s, especially those that live along Highway 46, feel that there are already enough convenience stores in their area and that the added traffic that another store will attract will become frustrating. A local news station featured a story about this proposed project in February 2020, interviewing local residents and Quiktrip‘s development team.
Matt Miller, QuikTrip’s director of real estate (QT South LLC), held citizen’s meetings in 2020 to explain, “This site is fully zoned for our use and we are not asking for any change in zoning as any C-store operator has a right to build a location here.
Miller also noted “TXDOT has plans to turn Hwy 46 into a six-lane divided highway through this section. We are planning to wait until this work has started or completed prior to our construction.”
The QuikTrip store would be located on 9.74 acres at the intersection of State Highway 46 and Stahl Lane, on an undeveloped lot.
The Bulverde Planning and Zoning Commission agenda called for consideration of a preliminary plat for the QuikTrip again last month (January 2022).
City Staff noted that the plat request was missing information about how the riparian buffer and detention pond will be contained within the drainage easement. There was also an agreement to not develop the Southern portion of the lot, so there must be an open space easement established as non-buildable lots.
QT South will also need to show Highway 46 and Stahl Lane right-of-way dedications, city limits and the city’s extraterritorial jurisdiction on a new location map and plat.
There is missing information about impervious cover, driveway locations, rainfall depths, and how the corners of the lots will be displayed overall (only one corner was explained in detail in January).
Furthermore, at the January 11th Bulverde City Council meeting (held two days previously), QT South asked Council for three variances regarding their chosen site. Upon review, the mayor and council allowed for the removal of two majestic trees for the driveway off Highway 46 because TxDOT has stated it is the only place it can be built. Quiktrip will have to follow ordinances pertaining to riparian buffer and cutting; the only cutting allowed will be for the incline percentage for the steep driveway.
According to Bulverde planning staff, the applicant failed to submit revisions and/or address comments so they denied the preliminary plat request at their January meeting.
Virtual Builders Exchange has reported the new construction of 13 QuikTrip stores in Texas over the past year for members – ten were built in Central Texas and three towards San Antonio. In 2020, VBX reported 21 new stores throughout the State.

Crotchety neighbor shuts down little girls’ egg-selling enterprise

When I was about 8, I got pretty good at weaving friendship bracelets. I concocted a scheme to sell the bracelets until I could afford my very own horse, which I intended to board in a neighbor’s backyard. I ended up with maybe $10 in profit, but my family members were pretty supportive. When I was about 8, I got pretty good at weaving friendship bracelets. I concocted a scheme to sell the bracelets until I could afford my very own horse, which I intended to board in a neighbor’s backyard. I ended up with maybe $10 in profit, but my family members were pretty supportive. And while there’s nothing cuter than an enterprising little kid, there’s also nothing worse than a bureaucracy-obsessed community member—as evidenced by a recent debacle in Bulverde, Texas.
It all started back in February, when this year’s devastating winter storm hit Bulverde. In the storm’s aftermath, 10-year-old Indiana Johnson and her 8-year-old sister, Phoenix, supplied their neighbors with eggs from their brood of 28 laying hens. And when the community got back on its feet, the girls’ father, Brian Johnson, decided it was time to channel the egg operation into a life lesson on responsible saving.
“I told the girls, hey, you know we have some extra eggs. I’ll tell you what, I’ll open your bank accounts, I’ll get you checks and debit cards. We’ll build you an account and you can sell the extra eggs to the neighbors,” Johnson told a local CBS station.

The girls gathered their eggs and sold them to neighbors for an average weekly profit of $69—until someone complained, and the girls received an official letter from the city ordering them to cease operations.
The local news station received the following statement from city officials: “City staff are bound to investigate complaints of ordinance violations which are presented to us, and to seek compliance with the laws as they are written.” The City of Bulverde’s statement also states: “The selling of chicken eggs or any other animal products produced on the property, from a residentially zoned lot is a violation of city ordinance, regardless of the age of the person conducting the sales.”
No word on who reported the girls’ egg project, or why. For now, the Johnsons are taking a step back from their egg enterprise. “I’m afraid that the city will take further action against me and I don’t want to hurt my kids,” says Johnson. Meanwhile, if anyone catches wind of the complainant’s identity, send ‘em my way. I just want to talk.
