Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Boerne, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Every aspect of our real estate photos, drone shots, videos, and tours are carefully engineered to bring your property to life
With a staff of highly-trained, innovative real estate photographers, there's no project too large or "out of the box" for us to handle. And we're not just talking real estate photography in the classic sense - we have successful clients in many different industries, who use our photographers for:
Interior Design
Lighting Design
Office Building
Medical Office

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Boerne, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

Located 30 minutes from San Antonio, Boerne turns into one of the Hallmark Christmas movie-looking towns during the holidays.
Founded by the same 19th-century German immigrants who settled across Fredericksburg, New Braunfels, Comfort and Sisterdale, Boerne is full of charming historic buildings that now house an array of shops, restaurants wineries and brewpubs. At Christmas, these places come alive with lights, parades and festivals with enough cheer to make your heart grow three sizes, à la The Grinch.
But it's not just the stunning Main Street amenities and charming town square. Boerne is known for its weekend December festivals that add an extra level of flair to the holiday season, making it a delightful destination for holiday magic.
Christmas in Boerne
The winter holiday season begins the moment people put their forks down on Thanksgiving Day. Dickens on Main is the annual Christmas kickoff event in Boerne. It's a vintage holiday wonderland with fake snow, live music, carolers, lights, food, and kids' activities taking over Main Street for two nights right after Thanksgiving Day.
The following weekend, the city hosts Weihnachts (German for Christmas) Weekend, which brings thousands out for a caroling contest, a 100-float parade, and warm winter drinks supplied by participating Main Street businesses.
Kinder Fest takes place a week later and is a child-friendly, weekend-long event that encourages guests to wear ugly Christmas sweaters or silly Christmas pajamas, as well as to sport Whoville-inspired hairstyles.
What to do in Boerne, Texas?
You can't go wrong with a trip to the Richter Bauckhaus to start your day with a viral two-pound cinnamon roll and some coffee or a warm spiced apple cider. The Boerne Bookshop is next door, and it has the perfect vibes if you want to stroll around and potentially have a cheesy Hallmark-style meet-cute in the book aisle.
Then make sure to walk around and check out more of Boerne's top sights. The Main Plaza gazebo is a favorite. At this time of year, there are stunning Christmas lights on display and a giant Christmas tree in the middle of town. There is also shopping on Main Street that includes an antique store with a fun, vintage twist named Flashback Funtiques.
Be sure to check out the Dienger Trading Co., which is the perfect setting for lunch, and looks like it was taken straight from the scene of a holiday rom-com. They also have some of the best coffee in Boerne.
At Christmas time, the entire town is covered with decorations, lights and wreaths. But no store does more than The Christmas Shoppe, which literally sells Christmas decorations all year.
You can spend the evening at different breweries in town and maybe grab a burger at Hamby's, a 1950s-style milkshake joint. You can then end the night at the Frosted Jack Christmas Tavern Pop-Up located at Camp Bar and Feed. This cozy little Christmas club is one of Boerne's best hangs. Locals love the maximalist holiday decorations, fun drinks and vintage vibes.
Owners Lillian Oler and Paula Hayward put together drinks like the Snowball-tini, Holiday en Jalisco, the Frosty Off Duty and a warm mulled wine. Hayward is also the owner of local favorite, Bear Moon Bakery, which has some of the tastiest pastries in Boerne.
If you're lucky, you'll catch her passing around some warm cookies while you sip away at the holiday pop-up. It's the perfect way to wind down one of the most charming Christmas getaways you can find near San Antonio.

The Lions will enter the championship game undefeated again at 15-0 while South Oak Cliff is 14-1 after defeating the Melissa [TX] Cardinals, 35-17, Friday night.

Renowned Hill Country ranch transforms into a jaw-dropping Christmas spectacle

The Jones Family has been hosting one of the worst-kept Christmastime secrets in the Texas Hill Country for years. After flashy national TV recognition and years of drawing thousands of folks to their neighborhood, the Jones family have grown their Christmas light show into a mile-long spectacle with 4 million lights on a 32-acre property.
Four years ago, the Jones family put their beloved home up for sale. It was time. After years of creating lines around the blocks of their quaint Boerne neighborhood and adding hundreds of thousands more lights each year, it was suddenly clear their passion project had outgrown the home they thought they’d live in forever.
“Year after year through word of mouth, we pretty much almost typically double each year,” Mandy Jones told MySA. “I think everyone that comes tells at least two or three people and so on and so on.”
And grown it has. So much so that the Jones Family is now offering an indoor experience where families can skip the mall lines for a photo with Santa. For that $20 price tag per family (on top of the $40 ticket to enter the light show), folks can also decorate some cookies and nab a hot cup of coco or apple cider. They also added an entire additional loop to the 1-mile light show this year.
The Jones CHRISTmas Ranch light show is a serious labor of love born out of an effort to promote the word of God – remind folks that Christmas is a celebration of Jesus’s birthday, says Jones – but also to give back and spread joy. And the labor is no small feat. Jones says her husband spends month ahead of the holiday season outside as early as 2 a.m. hanging lights as they expand year over year.
It’s also not a cheap “night job,” as Jones describes it noting the two still have regular day jobs. After all these years, their constant desire to go bigger has still not turned this jovial side hustle profitable despite rising attendance numbers. The addition of 500,000 more lights ever year doesn’t help that cause, but Jones says the couple has a five-year plan to at least break even on the venture every year.
Ultimately, it’s also the family’s giving nature that may be delaying that net zero attempt as well. The pair give away thousands of passes and already handed out $100,000 worth of passes to foster families and kids. They slipped 600 passes into Blessings in a Backpack which helps students and kids on reduced lunches or who are facing food insecurity.
The family, through their LLC Shine Bright Ministries, also host free events for foster agencies and children’s homes in the Texas Hill Country and San Antonio.
“First and foremost, we want to get the word about Jesus and to celebrate his birthday, right? Jesus came to save everybody. That's, that's the heart of what we do first and foremost,” says Jones. “But also just to create good family memories and traditions. We get letters and emails all the time from people that just went through a really rough time … and it's just a special moment to get their mind off of all of that.”
The Jones CHRISTmas Ranch light show is open every day through December 31st, lighting up from 6-10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The indoor experience is only weekends, but it’ll be up and running every weekend through December 22.
My favorite gem in Texas is just 30 minutes from San Antonio and feels like walking into a Hallmark movie

The first time I visited Boerne, Texas, was to see my boyfriend's parents. It was Christmastime, and the picturesque Main Street was aglow with lights — even Santa Claus made an appearance.
Now, I visit the charming city just 30 minutes north of San Antonio several times a year to visit my now-husband's family, and it never loses its charm.
In fact, I've grown to love it even more — not just for all the good coffee shops, restaurants, and fun city events, but also for the people who live there.
Here's everything I love about Boerne, and why I think you should consider a visit the next time you find yourself in the "Lone Star State."
In my opinion, one of Boerne's best features is its Main Street. Known as the "Hill Country Mile," Boerne's charming downtown is lined with boutiques, restaurants, bakeries, galleries, and specialty stores.
On most days, I've found plenty of community events taking place on Main Street.
Last month, I attended the city's annual "Hill Country Mile Rod Run," where downtown is packed with beautiful classic cars and a vendor market offers local handmade goodies.
I think the shopping scene in Boerne is unmatched in unique finds, from clothing and jewelry to home decor and antiques.
As an avid reader, The Boerne Bookshop is one of my favorite places to visit, as the small store features a surprisingly large selection.
For antiques, you can't go wrong with visiting the Johns Road Antique Mall, which is a warehouse-sized shop with thousands of treasures.
And after enjoying brunch at The Dienger Trading Co. on Main Street, I like to walk inside the connected boutique for an assortment of clothing, accessories, and gifts for people of all ages.
On Saturdays, I also recommend stopping by the Cibolo Farmers Market at Herff Farms for a selection of handcrafted goods and plants. In my experience, the locals are always friendly and happy to share samples and stories about their products.
As I alluded to earlier, I think Boerne is full of amazing food and drinks.
For a great brunch, I suggest ordering a stack of pancakes at Sunny's, a new all-day brunch spot downtown.
Fans of Star Wars and science fiction must stop by Darkside Brick Oven Pizza Co.: Part delicious pizza restaurant, part pop culture museum. Just make sure to order the garlic knots, which were out of this world (pun fully intended).
I also recommend stopping by The Dodging Duck, a local favorite craft brewery and restaurant with a patio overlooking the duck pond across the street.
There are lots of excellent places in Boerne to grab a coffee and a pastry, including Bear Moon Bakery, The Daily Grind, and Bakery Lorraine.
But my favorite is Richter Bakhaus, a bakery known for its Texas-sized cinnamon rolls (literally the size of my face).
I also love Boerne's natural beauty. Located in the Texas Hill Country, the city is situated among breathtaking landscapes and features miles of scenic trails.
Cibolo Nature Center has more than six miles of trails and is one of my family's favorite spots, thanks to its peaceful, slow-moving creek lined with tall cypress trees.
I think River Road Park is another great spot for watching ducks, taking a walk, or enjoying lunch at one of its many picnic tables.
Complete with a gazebo, bakeries, and novelty shops, I think visiting Boerne feels like walking onto the set of a Hallmark movie — and during Christmastime, that feeling is at its peak.
The festivities kick off on Thanksgiving weekend with "Dickens on Main," an annual community celebration featuring live performances, shopping, food, and a Christmas tree lighting ceremony.
In addition to other holiday-themed events and a pop-up ice rink in the city's center, you can also find The Christmas Shoppe on Main Street, which sells seasonal decor all year round, but is admittedly extra magical during this time of year.
After years of visiting, Boerne has become one of my favorite places in Texas. Between its thriving Main Street, friendly locals, and Hill Country scenery, I think it's one of the best weekend getaways in the state.
