Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Del Valle, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Del Valle, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. Refrigerators and shelves are fully stocked at Creedmoor Elementary in Del Valle, giving students and their families access to meals after school hours.
"It is a blessing to be able to have a pantry located inside the heart of our school, allowing the parents and the staff to have access to food," said Creedmoor Elementary parent Yaquelin Cornejo. "It is not just any food we are talking about; healthy choices for our students and our kid."
The Feeding Futures program is a collaboration between Del Valle ISD and the Central Texas Food Bank to provide at least 30 meals per student, per month, based on student enrollment.
"The feeding food pantry program is an incredible resource for students and their entire families," said Sari Vatske, president and CEO of the Central Texas Food Bank. "It provides choice variety access to fresh foods, new foods, nutritious food, and not only does it provide that, but we also have recipes, nutrition education, benefits assistance."
Austin food bank gives out holiday meal
About 13,000 pounds of food, including Thanksgiving day turkeys, were handed out. The stockpile was enough to make more than 11,000 meals for 250 households.
The items in the pantry were donated to the food bank by funders, including HEB.
"It’s about having fresh produce, it is about having fresh dairy, it's about having fresh protein," DVISD superintendent Dr. Annette Tielle said.
"We have things like pulled chicken, salmon, we have lentils, chickpeas, fruits and produce, salad, spinach, dairy like Greek Yogurt," Cornejo said. "Seeing this overwhelms my heart with joy because I grew up knowing how bad it is not to have access to food items."
Del Valle was selected as the first of many school districts the Central Texas Food Bank is partnering with.
"I am very, very big on nutrition," Dr. Tielle said. "I know that children who come to school nourished have a better day, they are more attentive, they are more engaged, the behavior is better, they learn better, but it is not just about full bellies, it is about having full better with healthy food inside those bellies."

After almost nine months without a representative on the Del Valle school board, residents in District 2 will have a trustee representing their area after a majority of the board agreed Thursday to appoint Damia?n Pantoja, who previously held the seat.
The 5-3 vote came down after months of failed attempts by the board to agree on a new board member for the seat, which became vacant due to a homestead tax exemption within another district that Pantoja said he unintentionally filed.
After interviewing three candidates for the District 2 seat during a closed session Thursday night, the eight board members, in a split vote in open session, appointed Pantoja, returning him to his position.

The Del Valle school board normally operates with nine members, though it had only had eight while the District 2 seat remained unfilled.
Board President Rebecca Birch and members Richard Rendon and Ann Heuberger voted against Pantoja’s appointment. After securing a majority with Pantoja, the board didn't vote on the other two applicants.
Pantoja had been on the Del Valle school board representing District 2 since 2019, when he was appointed to fill a vacant seat. He won the election in 2020 for the four-year term with 66% of the vote.
District 2 represents a compact area of the Del Valle district, largely from East Riverside Drive and East Oltorf Street between South Pleasant Valley Road and Montopolis Drive. The district includes parts of the Montopolis neighborhood and several multifamily apartments.
Pantoja said Thursday he is excited to get back to work.
“I'm just excited to be back on,” Pantoja said. “I’ve been fighting. It took a lot of growth for me to be patient and understand the process and be prepared for the decision.”
The District 2 seat has been vacant since June, when Pantoja got a homestead exemption on a property within the Austin school district, which effectively disqualified him for the Del Valle school board office. The board that month voted to acknowledge the vacancy, but district officials at the time said Pantoja had been automatically removed when he sought the homestead exemption outside the district.
School board members must live within the district they represent. A homestead exemption claims a property as the owner’s primary residence.
At the time, Pantoja’s lawyer said seeking the homestead exemption had been a mistake and that Pantoja continued living in the Del Valle district.
State rules allow school board members to choose between appointing a new member or holding a special election when a seat becomes vacant, according to guidance from the Texas Association of School Boards.
Typically, boards must fill the vacancy within 180 days — or six months — if the office has more than a year remaining in the term, according to state code.
The Texas Secretary of State’s Office didn’t immediately return American-Statesman inquiries about any potential penalties school boards could be subject to if they pass the 180-day deadline without filling a board vacancy.
Last month, Del Valle board members met to appoint a new board member to the vacant seat but couldn't reach a majority agreement. Pantoja and David Albert, who ran against Pantoja in 2020, had applied for the seat. The board had initially failed to come to a majority consensus during a vote in September.
Birch noted Thursday that Pantoja will be officially reinstated on the board during a regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday.
Pantoja's appointment came a day before Del Valle school Superintendent Annette Tielle announced she planned to retire in December to spend more time with her family. Tielle has been with the district seven years and served as superintendent since 2020.

Del Valle ISD superintendent Dr. Annette Tielle announced her plan to retire in December 2024.
She has worked for the district for seven years and has been superintendent since May 2020. She also served as interim superintendent and deputy superintendent for the district.
"It's bittersweet, because I love this district and everyone here is my heart from the students. First and foremost, I absolutely adore our students, our teachers and staff and our community and families. We truly have a gem here in Del Valle ISD," she said.
She's been in six districts from Pennsylvania to Texas and spent 32 years in public education.
Tesla invests in Del Valle ISD tech program
Del Valle ISD is getting help from Tesla for the district's manufacturing program.
The district has been rapidly expanding.
"With the growth came a spotlight on Del Valle, and it's been exactly what our students need," she said.
Business partnerships with companies like Infineon and Tesla give students pathways to prepare for careers.
"We really do have amazing students who are highly qualified, who are getting jobs and internships right out of high school, who are going to four-year colleges, going to Harvard," she said.
There are also challenges that districts across Central Texas have dealt with: the pandemic, ice storm, academic and mental health gaps.
"We put a lot of programs in place to close those gaps, and it's our teachers and staff. They have truly helped us overcome those challenges so that we are closing those gaps," Tielle said.
A bond package of $284 million passed in 2019, resulting in new facilities and upgrades. Another one in 2022 worth $300 million allowed for the purchase of land in Whisper Valley for new schools.
Del Valle ISD announces Thinkery partnership
The Thinkery will be investing $1.6 million into one of the three newly opened child development centers in Del Valle ISD to create a neighborhood museum with galleries and exhibits.
"It's given our students the facilities they deserve," Tielle said.
She says she's excited to see more milestones during her last year with the district, like creating a budget for staff raises, opening the P-TECH/ECHS campus and Gigafactory Studio, launching the Thinkery Community Center, and leading the momentum for building their second high school in Whisper Valley.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to the students.
"What I'm going to miss most is going into classrooms and teaching, and that's probably surprising, but I love to go into the classrooms, and I love to teach," Tielle said. "I get emotional about the kids. I want everyone to know how special the kids are in Del Valle ISD, and in 32 years, I've never met students like I have here. "
Tielle says she announced her retirement early to give the school board enough time to come up with a transition plan. The timeline is still to be decided.
H-E-B eyes Central Texas expansion, possibly near food desert

The unincorporated Central Texas community of Del Valle has long pushed for an H-E-B, pleading through petitions how necessary it is for the food desert area east of Austin.
But while an H-E-B is still unlikely to come to Del Valle anytime soon, a store may open in nearby Manor.
Early plans for the Butler Retail Center, which is located at the northwest corner of U.S. Highway 290 and FM 973 in Manor, about 13 miles north of Del Valle, lists H-E-B as one of the “major anchors” for the shopping center. Other businesses anchoring the center include H-E-B competitor Walmart, along with a Whataburger, Goodwill, Advance Auto Parts, T-Mobile and Wendy’s.
For years, Del Valle residents have settled for grocery runs at convenience stores and small grocers such as JD’s Supermarkets, or making trips to the nearest H-E-B in Austin or Bastrop. The hassle to get fresh food has caused frustration among some residents, who have pointed out that H-E-B has owned land in Del Valle for years but has yet to build on it.
Last month, Leslie Sweet, H-E-B’s director of public affairs for Central Texas, said that as the grocer reviews its long-term planning options, “it often makes sense to purchase property well in advance of our current real estate needs.”
“Development in Southeast Austin and Del Valle has been encouraging, and it made sense to invest in land holdings in Del Valle for our future aspirations to bring a store to this community,” Sweet said.
If an H-E-B does ultimately come to Manor, it could be a gain for those living outside of the Austin metro even though it would still require a trek for Del Valle residents.
But an H-E-B in Manor isn’t a guarantee. In June, the company told the Austin Business Journal that it is interested in Manor but did not have a commitment to build a store.
Still, there are plenty of indicators that the beloved Texas grocer might expand its reach to Manor.
Tesla’s headquarters are a straight 12-mile drive south from Manor, and the automaker is gearing up to increase head count in the coming year. On top of that, the ABJ reports that New York-based Abbott’s Frozen Custard’s retail broker said its upcoming shop in Manor will flank a new H-E-B.
Plus, Manor appears to be booming. Plans for the Butler Retail Center show multi-family apartments and the site of the future Manor ISD. Many other families nearby are likely to flock to the retail center as well. U.S. Census Bureau figures show that Manor’s population increased by 5,000 between 2020 and 2022, reaching 19,000.

DEL VALLE, Texas (KXAN) — The Del Valle Independent School District Board of Trustees voted during its meeting Tuesday night to join a “coalition of school districts” across Texas suing the Texas Education Agency over changes to its accountability ratings system.
DVISD Superintendent Dr. Annette Tielle wrote in a letter sent to families and staff Wednesday morning the Board unanimously voted to join the lawsuit, which is aimed at halting TEA’s planned “refresh” of the Texas State Accountability System, the rating system that assigns letter grades to campuses and districts. KXAN has reached out to the TEA and will update this story when we receive a response.
Tielle said in the letter the district has “tirelessly worked to improve student outcomes, and we are so proud of the amazing progress we are making.”
“This pride is a reflection of the hard work from our teachers, staff, students, and families in making Del Valle’s growth a reality,” Tielle continued in the letter. “We are disappointed that the Texas Education Agency is using this change in the accountability system to paint a picture that public schools, including Del Valle ISD, are failing. While we are focusing on your children’s success, we are being pulled into a political agenda.”
The letter highlighted some of the changes to the new Accountability System:
According to the letter, a bipartisan group of 55 legislators joins the school districts in their concern over the changes. The group asked for a delay in implementing the new standards.
Tielle said she will be meeting with staff and parents over the next month, and she plans to share videos with a state accountability expert outlining the changes. She also said she would continue her “advocacy at the Capital testifying for the benefit of our students in Del Valle ISD.”
“I will be the first to say that there is still much more work to be done, but we are excited about the progress we have made as a district and are looking forward to the work ahead during this coming school year,” Tielle said in concluding the letter.
The district also sent a letter to parents and staff on Tuesday, Aug. 15 addressing changes to the Accountability System and highlighting the district’s concerns over those changes.
Citing reports from media outlets, the district said the changes to the rating calculations may “create the perception that public schools in Texas are not performing well, even if they are improving.”
In March, hundreds of school districts across the state sent a letter to the Texas Education Agency asking to delay the “A-F” Accountability Rating system changes.
Austin ISD was one of those districts, and it also posted about its concerns on its website.
AISD told KXAN back in May it was anticipating its secondary campus and district “A-F” letter grades will decline by one to two letters under the new TEA rules.
TEA Commissioner Mike Morath told KXAN at that time the changes to the system should help improve the ability to recognize schools’ growth and “narrowing our focus on the most at risk kids, to close achievement gaps most effectively. We are updating our overall district rating methodology. We are creating a unique evaluation system.”
“As schools are improving, parents need to know then,” Morath said. “If they are not and they are regressing then parents need to know that as well.”
Del Valle ISD’s Aug. 15 letter said although individual student results would become available on Wednesday, TEA has not finalized how it is going to use the accountability system to rate campuses and districts. This will not take place until mid-September.
“Del Valle ISD is proactively communicating with families and staff, so that the DVISD community is prepared for the impact on our campuses. The district is committed to doing what is best for all students and we will continue standing up for all kids as these changes aim to hurt public schools across the state,” the Aug. 15 letter said. “Superintendent Annette Tielle and Accountability Ex. Director Ana Rush testified at the capitol on multiple occasions and advocated for a fair and equitable accountability system throughout last school year, and plan to continue this advocacy.”
