Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Liberty Hill, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Liberty Hill, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

Fast food chains continue to move into Liberty Hill

In the coming year, Liberty Hill residents can expect to see at least four more fast food chains open, particularly along Hwy. 29.
The big picture
Pizza Hut, Panda Express, Popeyes and Wendy's are set to join the city's slate of existing fast food offerings, which include McDonald's, Dairy Queen and Golden Chick.
Director of Economic Development Mary Poche' said fast food chains are flocking to Liberty Hill not only because it’s a fast growing area, but also because it has a major corridor, Hwy. 29, running through it.
“[Fast food chains] are going to come where they know the people are coming,” she said. “Concurrently to that, Hwy. 29 is a major thoroughfare. It’s just kind of a perfect storm for that.”
What residents are saying
Many residents are pushing back on the trend, citing the desire to keep Liberty Hill’s “small-town charm” through supporting local, mom-and-pop establishments rather than major corporations.
“I personally would prefer more local restaurants over fast food, not just for health benefits, but because of our family and community benefits,” Liberty Hill resident Rhona Sylvester said.
However, Bailey Wieland, a mom of four young kids, said she appreciates the convenience of fast food, in spite of her love for local, smaller restaurants.
“My kids are all in sports and after-school activities, and we don’t always have time to go sit down at a restaurant,” she said.
The bottom line
Poche' said while the city is not actively seeking fast food chains, they are also not discouraging them.
However, she said, city leaders are very conscious about what the public would like to see and are aware that residents want more restaurants.
“There’s still quite a bit of land that’s for sale,” she said. “I talk to restaurants and various restaurateurs, but it’s not going to happen overnight. It's coming, believe me.”

Liberty Hill Public Library seeks larger space

Amber Lundell and her children regularly visit the Liberty Hill Public Library to check out books and attend events. It’s the librarians’ kindness and the children’s activities that keep them coming back once a week, she said. However, the library has been unable to meet all of its patrons’ needs due to a lack of space, Library Director Angela Palmer said.
“I think my daughter has read almost every graphic novel, and we’re running out of things for her to read that she’s open to,” Lundell said.
Lundell said she and her children are waiting in anxious anticipation as library officials work to acquire land for a larger facility.
The overview
The Liberty Hill Public Library District is seeking to open a new, expanded library to provide more resources and services to the area’s rapidly growing population.
Since 2003, the library has operated out of a 2,400-square-foot building while the population in its service district has increased by more than 300% over the last 20 years, according to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
In late November, Liberty Hill City Manager Paul Brandenburg brought the possibility of the city purchasing 30 acres of land for a municipal campus before Council. He said the library may then be able to purchase a portion of that land from the city.
“[The city knows] the value of a library,” Palmer said. “I think they’re willing to work with us and do well for the good of the town.”
Why it matters
The library cannot adequately serve the community as there is not enough space to accommodate everyone who wants to attend programs and events, said Bob Calvisi, a Liberty Hill Public Library District board member and vice president of the Liberty Hill Chamber of Commerce.
With a larger building, the library could shelf more books; launch new programs, amenities and classes; and offer meeting spaces, Palmer said.
Although the library is not a city facility and is funded instead through a portion of sales tax, Liberty Hill officials are supportive of the library as it aids in providing programming to the area, said Katie Amsler, director of community engagement and communications for the city.
“The library’s a really important part of our community, and we want [it] to be as successful as possible,” Amsler said.
What they're saying
“I’ve been really excited about the bigger location for a long time. I just really hope that they can get the space they need and the resources they need, because they just have so much potential," said Liberty Hill resident Amber Lundell.
“The library is at its capacity. There are some additional programs that we’d like to bring into the community, and we just don’t have the space," said Bob Calvisi, a board member for the Liberty Hill Public Library District.
Moving forward
Over the coming months, library officials will gather feedback from the community on what they’d like to see from the new library through events, focus groups and surveys, Palmer said. That input will be used to create a strategic plan by the spring or summer to guide the new facility’s design, she said.
The building will be at least 20,000 square feet; however, its size will depend on how much the district can afford and how much land is acquired, Palmer said. She said she hopes to see the new library open in the next five years. In the future, she’d like to open library branches across the district and start a mobile library known as a bookmobile.
“We really want to see ourselves as that community center where people from all over can all come and congregate and feel like this is their library. This is their home. This is their community,” Palmer said.
The wishlist
The new library’s features will largely depend on what the community desires, Palmer said. She would like to see the space have the following:

Port Neches-Groves' state semifinal victory over Liberty Hill might not have been pretty, but head coach Jeff Joseph doesn't mind the optics of his team's latest playoff win.
With a trip to the state championship game at stake, Port Neches-Groves overcame its uncharacteristic mistakes during a 42-35 victory over Liberty Hill at the Berry Center in Cypress.
An 85-yard fake punt by Liberty Hill and a late touchdown drive in the final minute made the final margin closer than Joseph would have liked. Even so, he wasn't complaining about securing a second-straight appearance in the Class 5A-II title game.
"Pretty is overrated," Joseph said. "We found a way and that's all the matters."
The game was a rematch of the 2022 semifinal contest between the teams. Port Neches-Groves now eyes another rematch in the title game next week against South Oak Cliff, which beat Emerson on Friday night, 36-24.
Port Neches-Groves held a 7-point advantage at halftime and built that lead as big as 21 points before Liberty Hill's late surge. A recovered onside kick in the final seconds sealed Port Neches-Groves' victory.
Scroll below to see a play-by-play of how PN-G got the job done in its semifinal rematch against Liberty Hill.

Kickoff
Port Neches-Groves wins the toss and defers to the second half. Liberty Hill will start with the ball.
The Panthers will start their first possession at their own 22 yard line after a big hit in kick coverage by Port Neches-Groves.
Liberty Hill forced to punt after a quick 3-and-out. The PN-G defense looks up to the task early.
7:36 1Q: Port Neches-Groves 7, Liberty Hill 0
What a start for PN-G. After the defense forced the quick punt by Liberty Hill, the PN-G offense drives right down the field. Shea Adams make a few nice catches, but it's Isaiah Nguyen who scores the opening touchdown.
Nguyen sprints down the middle of the field, spins off a defender and breaks loose for a 35-yard touchdown. If Liberty Hill can't stop Nguyen, it'll be a long night for the Panthers.
6:12 1Q: Port Neches-Groves 7, Liberty Hill 0
Liberty Hill running back Noah Long makes his presence felt right away with a huge run that puts the Panthers deep in PN-G territory. However, the Panthers' success was short-lived. They fumble the ball and give it right back to PN-G. Tough break for Liberty Hill early in this game.
3:20 1Q: Liberty Hill 7, Port Neches-Groves 7
How quickly things can change. After the fumble, PN-G's offense can't do much and punts.
On the next play, Liberty Hill running back Ben Carter finds a gap and scores on a 74-yard touchdown run. All Carter does is score touchdowns. He now has 32 scores on the season. We've got ourselves a game here early.
End 1Q: Liberty Hill 7, Port Neches-Groves 7
A nice drive underway for Port Neches-Groves as the first quarter comes to a close. A few nice 3rd-down conversions have kept the drive alive, with PN-G now looking to retake the lead.
So far, Liberty Hill has shown no answer for the PN-G run game, but Jeff Joseph's team is throwing a bit more than expected. We'll see if PN-G can wear down the Panthers defense and capitalize.
11:54 2Q: Port Neches-Groves 14, Liberty Hill 7
PN-G wastes no time. On the first play of the second quarter, Blair Chatagnier scores on 15-yard run right up the middle. It doesn't seem to matter who is carrying the ball for PN-G. Everyone is having success on the ground.
5:30 2Q: Port Neches-Groves 14, Liberty Hill 14
This game just completely flipped on one play. Liberty Hill looked to be punting from its own 15 yard line. Instead, it’s a fake, and Ben Carter runs right past everyone for an 85-yard touchdown.
That’s Carter’s second touchdown of the game. As I said earlier, all he does is score. PN-G was completely caught off guard on that play.
2:17 2Q: Port Neches-Groves 21, Liberty Hill 14
An immediate response by PN-G. They go on a 6-play, 75-yard drive that happens in a blink. It's capped off by a 31-yard touchdown pass from Connor Bailey to London Nunley. Extra point is good.
Nunley has been a big target for Port Neches-Groves so far in this game.
Halftime: Port Neches-Groves 21, Liberty Hill 14
PN-G's late score holds up at halftime. Meanwhile, Ben Carter's two long touchdowns have kept Liberty Hill in the game. We should be in store for a fun second half.
It looked like Liberty Hill might get off a last-second field goal to end the half, but the Panthers didn't spike the ball in time and the clock ran out.
5:15 3Q: Port Neches-Groves 35, Liberty Hill 14
It's been all PN-G to start the third quarter. They score touchdowns on their first two possession of the second half, the latest of which was a 3rd-down pass from Bailey to Shea Adams.
Liberty Hill suddenly in big trouble.
Before Adams' touchdown, Blair Chatagnier's 42-yard score set the tone for the second half.
End 3Q: Port Neches-Groves 35, Liberty Hill 21
The Panthers aren't going away easy. Jack Pitchford finds the end zone with a 21-yard touchdown on the final play of the third quarter. PN-G still has some work to do to close this one out.
4:21 4Q: Port Neches-Groves 42, Liberty Hill 21
This one looks to be over after another Port Neches-Groves score. It's another touchdown pass from Bailey, who finds London Nunley for his second receiving touchdown of the game.
A back-breaking drive their by the Port Neches-Groves offense. It's just a matter of time now.
2:39 4Q: Port Neches-Groves 42, Liberty Hill 28
Again, the Panther just keep fighting, but it likely won't matter. Pitchford scores again late here in garbage time. Save for anything crazy happening, Port Neches-Groves is heading back to the state championship game.
Final: Port Neches-Groves 42, Liberty Hill 35
Things got a little too close for comfort for Port Neches-Groves. Getting the ball back with 1:15 left in the game, Liberty Hill drove right down the field and capitalized on a quick touchdown pass.
However, the ensuing onside kick was recovered by PN-G, and Liberty Hill's comeback attempt ran out of time.

The Liberty Hill ISD board of trustees approved the academic calendar for the 2024-25 school year at a Jan. 22 meeting.
The calendar includes more staff development days spread throughout the year, allowing for several four-day school weeks and extended weekends for students, LHISD Chief of Schools Travis Motal said.
Zooming in
The 2024-25 academic calendar includes the following dates:
Additional staff development days will be held on Sept. 20, Nov. 1 and April 4.
The backstory
The student and staff holidays as well as staff development days come in response to community feedback, Motal said. Parents requested time for their students to decompress throughout the year, go on vacation and attend doctors appointments while staff requested more professional development time to adapt to the new curriculum, he said.
“This version, I would say, is a very good blend of remaining student centered ... but also keeping in mind the recruitment and retention of our staff,” said Kristin Coulter, LHISD chief of strategic planning and partnerships.
Quote of note
“This is a job well done,” board president Megan Parsons said. “That is an incredible calendar. I’ve seen a lot of calendars, and this one is impressive. It really seems to really meet all the needs.”
