Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Kerrville, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Every aspect of our real estate photos, drone shots, videos, and tours are carefully engineered to bring your property to life
With a staff of highly-trained, innovative real estate photographers, there's no project too large or "out of the box" for us to handle. And we're not just talking real estate photography in the classic sense - we have successful clients in many different industries, who use our photographers for:

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Kerrville, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

A Texas teen lost three limbs after flu complications and a strep infection led to septic shock, highlighting risks doctors say many families overlook.
HOUSTON — A 13-year-old girl from Kerrville is fighting for her life after what her family initially believed was the flu quickly turned into a severe, life-threatening illness that caused organ failure and led to the amputation of three of her limbs.
Kaydin Ruiz is now being treated at Texas Children's Hospital, where her family hopes her story will serve as a warning to others.
Kaydin’s mother, Amanda Valdez, said her daughter first showed symptoms in late January.
“January 23, she started getting fever, chills and body aches,” Valdez said.
What seemed like a common illness rapidly worsened. By the end of the month, Kaydin’s condition had deteriorated enough to require a trip to the her local emergency room, where she received oxygen and fluids before being sent home.
“They put her on oxygen, gave her fluids, monitored her and debated sending us to San Antonio for higher care, but ultimately sent us home to hydrate,” Valdez said.
After returning home, Valdez said her daughter’s condition took a sudden and alarming turn.
“She went into respiratory distress, started turning blue,” she said. “She had strep pneumonia and septic shock and multi-organ failure.”
Kaydin was rushed to a hospital in San Antonio, where doctors diagnosed her with a severe strep infection in addition to the flu. Valdez said her daughter’s heart function dropped significantly.
“She was on a full mask forcing air into her lungs. Her heart was in distress — about 20% function at that point,” she said.
At one point, Kaydin’s heart stopped, and doctors had to resuscitate her.
“Devastating. Never in a million years did I think the flu B would lead to something like this,” Valdez said.
Doctors at Texas Children’s say while the flu can be dangerous on its own, it becomes far more serious when combined with infections like strep.
Dr. Howard Pryor said both illnesses can be severe individually.
“Influenza is a very dangerous virus — far more severe than many people realize,” Pryor said. “Strep is also a dangerous bacteria that requires close attention.”
He explained that toxins from the bacterial infection can trigger dangerous complications in the body.
“Toxins released by the bacteria can activate clotting in different parts of the body,” Pryor said.
Those complications led to organ failure and severe blood clotting in Kaydin’s limbs. Doctors ultimately had to amputate both of her legs and one arm.
“It’s devastating. How do you tell your child that their whole world has changed?” Valdez said. “Now she’s covered in scars. Her whole life has changed.”
Despite the devastating outcome, Valdez said she is sharing her daughter’s story to raise awareness and help other families recognize the risks.
“Never in a million years did we expect this from the flu. We just want to share her story and help other people before it gets to this,” she said.
Doctors say vaccination remains one of the best ways to reduce the risk of severe illness.
“We wouldn’t want parents to miss the opportunity,” Pryor said. “When flu vaccines are available, that’s the best way to protect your child from part of this risk.”
Kaydin now faces a long road to recovery, including healing, rehabilitation and eventually being fitted for prosthetics. Her family has started an online fundraiser to help cover medical expenses.

Forrest Gump actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise has pulled the plug on a benefit concert for first responders and families impacted by the Texas Hill Country July 4, 2025 floods.
The show was scheduled to take place on April 18, 2026.
The news was shared by staff at a Kerr County Commissioners' Court meeting on March 9. A staff member informed county leaders that the Gary Sinise Foundation, of which Sinise is the founder, chairman and president, said in an email sent that morning that the nonprofit plans to shift its efforts from the concert and instead focus on the "most impactful ways possible through the foundation to honor the families of the flood."
The foundation withdrew its mass gathering permit application, which was scheduled for a hearing on March 23 in the Commissioners' Court.
"So there won't be a concert," the female staff member said at the meeting.
"Okay," Kerr County Judge Rob Kelly said. "I think we can accommodate them and work with them any way they want."
Representatives for the Gary Sinise Foundation tell MySA that conversations they’ve held with Kerrville residents, and groups on the ground in the Hill Country led to a shift in focus in their plans to help support the community as it recovers.
“We’re playing a support role for them, and with them,” Vice President of Programs for the Gary Sinise Foundation, Gib Bosworth, shared with MySA. “When we looked at what they’re navigating down there, after speaking with them, it was clear to us that their sense of community was still hurt. That’s why we’re adjusting the approach here.”
Only eight months after the tragic flood, residents in the Hill Country town are wrestling with a number of challenges post-flood. Mental health concerns have also been on the rise in the aftermath of the natural disaster.
“They’re wrestling very much as a community, and they’ve been very open with us about that," said Bosworth.
The foundation VP said the community has been very open about wrestling with lingering challenges after the flood. The foundation is in active discussions on what appropriate support looks like.
“We are having active discussions with them on what they would like to do,” said Bosworth. “We’re trying to be ultra, ultra considerate.”
The GSF has been supporting first responders, U.S. military veterans, and their families in times of need since 2011, intends to prioritize moving forward.
Known most widely for his role as Lt. Dan in the 1994 movie Forrest Gump, Gary Sinise's portrayal of the Vietnam veteran and double amputee earned an Oscar nomination. The actor and musician's foundation was first formed out of his support for Vietnam veterans. Over the last 40 years, he has performed at over 600 benefit concerts, built more than 100 custom homes for those in need, and served 1.3 million meals to "heroes across the country and overseas," according to the foundation.

If there’s one thing that was evident over the summer in the wake of the July 4 flooding emergency, it is that natural disasters can strike at any time and having trained “boots on the ground” is essential to any search, rescue and recovery operation.
As such, the Kerr County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is looking to add to its ranks of trained “citizen heroes.”
“We are looking for some new recruits to join our team. What we need are folks who can keep calm, cool and collected in the face of an emergency,” said Kerr County Emergency Management Coordinator William B. “Dub” Thomas.
“If you (or some folks you know) are the type of person who never hesitates to jump to the aid of neighbors in their time of need, then we are very interested in talking with you (or them),” Thomas said.
Join Up!
Want to find out more? Then circle Saturday, Jan. 31, on the calendar! That’s when leadership of CERT will host a recruitment event at 10 a.m. in the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office Training Room, located off Clearwater Paseo.
“During the months that followed our devastating flood, CERT team members served a vital role. They contributed in so many valuable ways – whether it was out in the field or near the Kerrville/Kerr County EOC (Emergency Operations Center),” Thomas said.
The spirit of volunteerism was on a worldwide display as our local CERT members added strength to our forces when it was absolutely needed most.
Typically, CERT squad members are the first folks on the ground after an area is struck by disaster – whether natural or man-made in design. Often, they find themselves in less-than-ideal circumstances as they conduct situation assessments and recon for uniformed emergency personnel before their agencies can arrive on scene.
“We need more people who can have the presence of mind under stressful circumstances to provide accurate damage assessments, tackle the logistics of organizing volunteer responses and maybe even conduct the distribution of food and emergency resources to people negatively impacted, as well as any number of other duties they may be called upon to perform,” he added.
Emergency Training
Those signing on as team members must complete the CERT Basic Training Weekend tentatively scheduled Feb. 27-March 1, 2026.
Training will cover such topics as disaster preparedness, fire safety and utility controls, disaster medical operations light search and rescue operations, CERT organization, disaster psychology, terrorism and more.
Kerr County CERT meets the second Thursday of each month at the Kerr County Sheriff’s Office, 400 Clearwater Paseo in Kerrville.
Applications join CERT are available at https://www.co.kerr.tx.us/sheriff/cert/apps.html.
For more questions or information, contact Dub Thomas by emailing william.thomas@so.kerrcountytx.gov or by phoning 830-315-2430 during regular business hours.
