Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Leander, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Every aspect of our real estate photos, drone shots, videos, and tours are carefully engineered to bring your property to life

With a staff of highly-trained, innovative real estate photographers, there's no project too large or "out of the box" for us to handle. And we're not just talking real estate photography in the classic sense - we have successful clients in many different industries, who use our photographers for:

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:

Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.

Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.

Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Leander, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.

Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.

2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.

3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.

Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. If you're ready to get started on more success, we're here to help.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Texas — Crews recovered the body of a missing Leander man on Saturday after nearly a week of searching.
The city of Leander said Jay Dunn, 74, had not been in contact with his family since June 7. His son, Brandon Dunn, told KVUE that family checked in on him during the floods over the Fourth of July weekend. Panic set in when he was not located during a welfare check.
Brandon Dunn said he and his brother immediately drove down to their father's home. His phone and wallet were found inside the house, which sits along County Road 177 by Brushy Creek – an area where water tends to rise.
Brandon Dunn said his father is usually good about staying away from the creek, which doesn't get up to the porch. But the family couldn't get in contact with him.
Officials said an "extensive search" for Jay Dunn began on July 6. Officials also noted that a scooter and articles of clothing were found on Jay Dunn's property, and that "evidence at the scene suggested he may have been near the river when water levels rose."
When KVUE spoke with Brandon Dunn on July 9, he said his family hoped Jay Dunn would be found safe somewhere, but at the end of the day, "if nothing else, we'd like some closure."
Brandon Dunn confirmed to KVUE on Tuesday that his father's body was recovered on Saturday, July 12.

Leander, TX (July 20, 2025) – A vehicle collision resulted in injuries Saturday morning in Leander, prompting a swift response from emergency crews. The crash occurred around 10:03 a.m. in the area of 12201 Hero Way W, drawing attention from local authorities due to the severity of the impact.
Medics and fire crews worked to assist those suffering from injuries after the collision. While the exact number of people hurt has not been disclosed, those involved were evaluated and given medical attention at the scene.
Emergency personnel from Leander Fire and Rescue ensured the area was secured while medical aid was administered. The exact cause of the crash remains under investigation by local officials.
Our thoughts are with those affected by this accident.
Accidents like the one that unfolded on Hero Way W in Leander are a common concern throughout Texas. With more drivers commuting across suburban and rural stretches like those in Williamson County, the risks of crashes persist. In this region, Hero Way W serves as a heavily traveled connector, making it particularly vulnerable to sudden collisions, especially during busy weekend mornings.
Auto crashes often result in more than just physical injuries. Victims may face emotional trauma, financial stress, and long-term disruptions to daily life. In the aftermath of such incidents, it is important for those affected to carefully document what occurred, seek continued medical care, and understand their rights.
Texas roads have seen an increase in injury-related crashes over the past several years. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, more than 200,000 people sustained injuries from traffic-related incidents in 2024 alone. These statistics highlight the need for enhanced safety awareness and defensive driving, particularly on fast-developing roadways like those surrounding Leander.
For individuals injured in collisions, knowing when and how to file claims, communicate with insurers, and preserve critical evidence is key. Even a seemingly minor crash can have significant legal and financial implications. Prompt action can help safeguard long-term recovery and accountability.
If you or someone you care about was involved in this crash or a similar accident, help is available. For more information or to receive help after an accident, contact Local Accident Reports.

LEANDER, Texas — Leander Mayor Christine DeLisle said Travis County officials turned away her city's assistance during the Sandy Creek flood response, leaving families stranded.
In a statement released Friday, DeLisle said she only recently learned that Travis County began denying Leander access and asking their teams to stand down after initial water rescues were completed last Saturday.
"I never imagined Travis County would turn away our help. But that is what happened," DeLisle said. "Travis County is the jurisdiction in charge, and they chose to refuse not only our, but other jurisdictions' assistance."
DeLisle said Leander Fire responded at 2 a.m. Saturday to assist with water rescues at Sandy Creek in Travis County, performing multiple rescues that day. The city also reportedly opened its Travisso fire station as a staging area for Travis County crews and hosted state rescue teams at headquarters.
But DeLisle said she believed her city was continuing to assist Travis County throughout the week, following standard disaster response protocol.
"If I had known, I would have moved mountains to change that response by calling county officials directly or by publicly demanding action," she said.
The mayor said she was "devastated for the families who waited in anguish."
DeLisle also criticized Travis County's hazard mitigation planning, saying Sandy Creek was marked as a flood risk but never specifically identified for mitigation efforts.
"There was no plan to reduce the danger there," she said. "I don't know how such an area could be overlooked, but it is unacceptable."
The mayor said the city would potentially be allowed back for cleanup in a few days.
"I do not understand why Leander has been denied access to so much of this tragedy," DeLisle said. "Sandy Creek is part of our community, and we would have gladly taken command."

With heavy hearts, we share the news that our beloved parents, Dan 67 and Virginia “Jennie” Watts Dailey 66, of Leander TX have both passed away tragically, in the devastating Leander Flood that happened in the early morning hours of July 5th, 2025.
Jennie was born on January 30th, 1959 in Austin, Texas. Dan was Born on October 2nd, 1957 in Georgetown, Texas.
They wed on August 1st, 1977 when Jennie was pregnant with their first child (Daniel).
Together they had four children and built a family defined by resilience and affection.
Dan grew up with a fierce spirit and an unwavering commitment to family.
Known for his tough love, protective nature, and fearlessness. Dan was also nurturing, hardworking and sacrificed so much for his family (things he didn’t brag about, but never went unnoticed). Dan dedicated his career to the Leander School District, working tirelessly, in groundskeeping.
Beyond family and his work-A cowboy at heart, Dan's love of horse/bull riding, ("just one last ride," he'd always say), He loved country music but every once in a while, we’d catch him singing a catchy little tune “Big wheel keep on turnin…”, camping, hunting, fishing, a true outdoorsman he was and he found true joy in spending time with family.
Jennie has spent most of her life working with children and adults of all ages, with special needs and disabilities. From Disability Care at Hope House, to Home Health Care, to dedicating many years to driving school buses for the Leander School District. Known for her loving, kind, and empathetic spirit, Jennie touched everyone she met with gentleness and compassion.
Jennie found great joy in reading, writing poems and short stories and traveling.
Her genuine warmth and deep compassion defined her life and brought comfort to all who crossed her path. Family was her heart; she treasured every moment spent with her family.
Dan and Jennie are reunited in peace with each other; with their late son, Daniel; Dan’s parents John and Fannie; his sister Sandra; Jennie’s father, Velton and her brother, Terry.
Both remembered by their daughters,
Rosa (Mark) Shelnutt and Jessica (Jacob) Reveile, their son, Wesley (Mary) Dailey; their Daughter-In-Law, (Dana)-widow of their late son (Daniel); Dan’s sister, Diana Teneyuque; Jennie’s devoted mother, Ethel Watts; and Jennie’s siblings, Ernie (Jana) Watts and Nina (David) Warwick; their Grandchildren: Wayne, Malachi, Charity, Brianna, Tiarra, Samantha, Leah, Allison, Danny; and their extended family, who will all miss them deeply.
A memorial service will be held at “Glad Tidings” Church in Leander, TX, on Friday, July 18th, 2025. The family invites all who knew and loved them to join in remembering this couple who were deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
“She left footprints of love that no storm can erase, her warmth remains in every embrace.”
In the words that echo his spirit:
"Oh the last goodbyes', the hardest one to say, and this is where the cowboy rides away."
