Unmatched Real Estate Photography in Dripping Springs, TX
We've all heard the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words," and in today's digitally-dominant world, that saying is more poignant than ever. In real estate, pictures have a huge impact on whether a home is sold or passed by. That's especially true in a time when prospective homebuyers are less likely to travel in-person to tour a home in their price range.
With more time on their hands to peruse real estate listings, buyers are inundated with all sorts of images, which is why your real estate photos must stand out from the crowd. Once buyers filter through property locations, pricing, nearby school districts, and square footage, they want to flip through photos. If your pictures aren't up to snuff, you can be sure the homebuyer will move to the next listing.
Fortunately, Twist Tours is here to provide you with high-resolution, creative photography for your real estate needs - whether you're listing a brand-new home or selling a property that has been on the market too long.
We believe Twist Tours stands apart because we do more than capturing a visual record of a home. Instead, your Twist Tours real estate photographer develops an emotional bridge between potential buyers and real estate listings by enhancing the home's true character. Every aspect of our real estate photos, drone shots, videos, and tours are carefully engineered to bring your property to life
With a staff of highly-trained, innovative real estate photographers, there's no project too large or "out of the box" for us to handle. And we're not just talking real estate photography in the classic sense - we have successful clients in many different industries, who use our photographers for:

Lighting Design
Office Building
Medical Office

Aerial Video and Photography Services for Real Estate
Nothing showcases your property quite like professional aerial video and photography. With our drone photography services, you can turn lookers into buyers by giving them a unique vantage point of your commercial or residential property. If you're looking to set your real estate business apart from your competition, drone photography and video is the way to go.
Aerial photography adds an extra layer of "special" to your real estate photos, taking your listing from dull to downright beautiful. Sellers want to work with agents willing to entertain creative ways to sell homes. Buyers want to see every nook and cranny of the home they're interested in buying. With aerial real estate photography, you get the best of both worlds.
Benefits of aerial real estate photography and video include:
Property Location
If you're a real estate expert, we bet you're used to hearing the saying "location, location, location." One of the greatest benefits of aerial real estate photography is the chance to see where a home is located with respect to parks, restaurants, and other attractions. If you need to capture the entirety of a property's layout, take to the skies.
Property Accuracy
Taking pictures is one of the most important steps in selling a home. Generally, exterior real estate photos are taken from common locations like driveways, back yards, and on decks. Aerial real estate photography and videography can show a more accurate, robust depiction of a home for sale, giving buyers a more complete picture of the home they're looking to buy.
Tell a Better Story
Excellent storytelling is one of the most reliable keys to real estate sales. On the one hand, buyers want to know exactly where their money will be going when buying a home. On the other hand, sellers want to work with an agent who has more than the typical tools of the trade on hand. When coupled with interactive virtual tours, hiring a Twist real estate videographer in Dripping Springs, TX can help realtors tell a more captivating story.
Commercial Real Estate Photography Services
Ever considered professional real estate photography for your commercial business needs? Making a first strong impression is an incredible asset to your business. Doing so is equally as important for commercial purposes as it is for residential real estate reasons. With Twist Tours, your prospective clients can access online 3D virtual tours filled with stunning HDR real estate photography to give them a full picture of what you're selling. With our floor plan and room planner tours, you can even implement our real estate photos in your print marketing materials.
But that's just the start. A few additional benefits of commercial real estate photography include:
1.
Give Buyers What They Want:
The Wall Street Journal recently published a piece about the best ways to sell a commercial property. Their research found that buyers spent 60% of their time looking at photos on a property page. Knowing this, you must find creative ways to make your listings and marketing materials stand out. A lack of dazzling, positive imagery could mean you lose out on a sale or a tenant.
2.
More Clicks and Shares:
When prospective buyers or tenants are captivated by a real estate photo, they are very likely to click through to your website. Pictures with the right mix of professionalism and pizzaz are also share-worthy, meaning your commercial property for sale will reach a wider audience.
3.
Get That Great First Impression:
For buyers or tenants to take your commercial property seriously, your real estate images must make a positive impression by being HDR, modern, and beautiful.
Do the Twist
Guess what? At Twist Tours, we love our clients. Not just because of the fantastic relationships we've formed with builders, brokers, owners, designers, agents, and their staff - but because they get it. They know how important a strong first impression can be in the real estate industry. The only thing we love more than meeting new clients is helping them grow their business. Natural attractions abound in Texas, making it a prime destination for outdoor lovers. Sometimes you need to work harder to find them, such as the Blanco River, a scenic oasis and local secret at the end of a tough hike. Other times, these natural wonders are only a short drive from a major city, like the Big Creek Scenic Area, a nature preserve near Houston with lush trails and wildlife. Milton Reimers Ranch Park, a 2,427-acre preserve with exceptional rock climbing and mountain biking trails, is of the latter variety. It's only a 20-minute drive from Dripping Springs or 40 minutes from Austin, yet it feels like you're worlds away from civilization.
When it comes to mountain biking, you have more than 18 miles of trails to explore. The trail network circumnavigates the center of the preserve and includes different colored routes for beginner, intermediate, and advanced bikers. The beginner (green) trails are designed to be easy and accessible, good for casual exercise or enjoying a fun ride through trees and grass. The intermediate (blue) and advanced (black) trails offer more challenges, from ledge drops and narrow, undulating tracks to steep downhill sections and tight squeezes between trees. Bikers who enjoy pulling tricks can ride the Flow Trail, which includes beams and jumps.
Milton Reimers Ranch Park's rock climbing is considered world-class and attracts climbers of all levels. You have around 300 climbing routes to choose from, many of which register at 5.9 on the Yosemite Decimal System (advanced climbing). There are some spots where the difficulty drops below 5.4, which are more appropriate for beginners. Climbers love the variety of technical routes here, including the 92-foot-high Reimers Ranch climb that overlooks the Pedernales River. The limestone cliffs have pre-placed bolts and anchors, or you can book a guided course for local insights on where to go.

Experience outdoor recreation at Milton Reimers Ranch Park, Texas
It's no surprise to find various hiking trails within a place like this, with Milton Reimers Ranch Park seemingly made for travelers who love the outdoors. Some of the most popular hiking routes include views of the Pedernales River, lead you through forests, or involve some minor scrambling along rocks. The Reimers Ranch Lower and Upper River Trail is one of the most popular, with a 4.7-star rating on AllTrails. This 3.9-mile loop takes around 1.5 hours and basically leads you along the Pedernales River, where it turns and starts heading up towards the Colorado River. Hikers rave about the beautiful river vistas and frequent wildlife spotting. Just be prepared for some steep sections and rock scrambling.
On those hot, sunny days, the park is a great spot for cooling off by swimming in the river. You need only walk about a quarter mile from the parking lot before you reach the riverbank. Guided bird walks are sometimes offered depending on the season and weather. These tend to traverse 2 to 3 miles of easy trails and give you an opportunity to spot woodpeckers, canyon wrens, sparrows, bluebirds, and other rare species.
Milton Reimers Ranch Park was officially designated an International Dark Sky Park in 2021. This means its light pollution levels are capped to protect its starry night sky. You can learn more about the park, its night sky, and light pollution at Reimers Observatory. It hosts nighttime observation programs with two large telescopes and laser pointers showing off various constellations and planets above.
What to know before visiting Milton Reimers Ranch Park, Texas
Not every part of the park is open every day throughout the year. Mountain biking and horse riding trails are sometimes closed after rain, and the beach access to the river is often not available on busy weekends for public safety. It's always best to check the Travis County Parks website for regular park updates before visiting. Most of the time, the park is open from 7 a.m. until twilight, so it closes a lot earlier in winter than in summer.
At the time of writing, it costs $5 per person to enter the park, with a $2 discount for anyone 62 years or older. You'll need cash to pay at the entrance, as they don't take card. If you're local or plan on visiting a lot, you can buy an annual pass for $80. Camping, fires, and fireworks are all banned, and pets need to be kept on a leash.
While you can't stay overnight at Milton Reimers Ranch Park, it's easy enough to find a hotel in Austin and make it a day trip. Likewise, Dripping Springs has a few motels and hotels to choose from. If you're staying in Austin, you may also want to check out Clarksville's artsy community full of cool boutiques, venues, and bars.

It’s hard to say which Dripping Springs touchdown catch was more impressive Thursday at House Park.
Was it James Montgomery taking a short pass in the flat and sprinting 82 yards, or perhaps one of three scoring receptions by Cooper Reid where he beat his defender and hauled in a lofty pass near the sideline?
What about Merrik Bloomgren bringing down a fade pass in the end zone while draped in coverage?
You really can’t go wrong with any choice, and the Tigers’ 56-14 win over Austin High in a District 26-6A contest was a perfect display of the senior wideout trio that has helped Dripping Springs be one of the top teams in the Austin area with a sizzling 6-0 start.
“It’s probably one of the more complete (receiver) groups we’ve had, and we’ve had some really, really good ones,” Dripping Springs coach Galen Zimmerman said. “It’s one that, if you try to take one away, the other ones are going to find opportunities. And they’re good enough to make plays when called upon.”
Reid, an Arizona State commit, gets the most attention, and with good reason. He’s 6 feet 3 with exceptional footwork, good hands and great speed. He caught touchdown passes on his first three catches Thursday and ended with five receptions for 111 yards.
But Bloomgren and Montgomery would be the top option at most other schools in Central Texas. Bloomgren, who has an offer from Army, is also 6-3 with a good vertical, while Montgomery is the speed option in the slot who might be the fastest of them all.
“I feel like we all have something that we’re good at,” said Montgomery, who finished with four catches for 181 yards and four touchdowns. “And this offense is a great one for us.”
The three, who have combined for 79 catches for 1,378 yards and 21 TDs this season, have played together since elementary school, something that Bloomgren noted gives them a connection to the point where, “We just kind of know what each other are going to do.”
And there aren’t any egos, either. Even though they accounted for 352 of Chase Ames’ 395 yards passing and all six of his scoring tosses, it’s what happens without the ball that the trio prides itself on.
“A big part of all of our games is blocking, and I think that’s a big way that we complement each other,” Reid said. “Whether it’s someone getting a screen pass or just blocking downfield once someone makes a catch, it’s a key aspect for all three of us.”
Bloomgren, Montgomery and Reid have also made the transition to varsity football for Ames a smooth one.
Though there’s no doubt Ames, a junior who has the vision and arm talent to succeed, throwing to three players who will play at some level in college next fall is a luxury that has helped him compile 1,591 yards and 23 touchdowns passing.
“It’s important because he doesn’t feel like he has to do too much,” Zimmerman said. “He just takes what the defense is giving him, and he can kind of run the offense instead of trying to make plays. But he also has the confidence to deliver the ball.”
Dripping Springs seems on a path to a showdown with Lake Travis on Oct. 17, when both teams should be undefeated. But the Tigers, who host Bowie on Friday, aren’t taking anything for granted.
“Being 6-0 in Texas high school football is a very hard thing to do, and we’re all blessed to be in this opportunity,” Reid said. “We’re just trying to go 1-0 every week.”
Hudson Whitenight and Dripping Springs offensive line also shine
Ames, who also ran for a TD, was rarely pressured and never had to scramble. Though he threw a lot of quick passes, the main reason for that was a Tigers offensive line that was exceptional in protection.
“We’re still fine-tuning some stuff, but it’s a group that plays well together,” Zimmerman said. “A huge part of the offensive line is having that cohesion. And they’ve been really good with their communication. They’ve been a big part of our success for sure.”
Hudson Whitenight and John Ault are returning starters, while Holden Yeldell and Braxton Jones have varsity experience from last year. Croft Connor is excelling in his first year on the Tigers’ top squad.
“We’re a great group overall, and I think we have that chemistry which fuels us to play as a team and a unit, which is what an offensive line should be,” Whitenight said.
Though only a junior, Whitenight is one of the area’s better offensive linemen with offers from Arizona State, Duke and Nebraska. He noted he’s a different player than last fall.
“I have more confidence,” Whitenight said. “I’m a little bigger and a little more mature, which is helpful.”
Lake Travis vs Dripping Springs: Late TD gives Cavs key district win with Westlake on deck

DRIPPING SPRINGS — Lake Travis rover Teddy Lofgren figured it would take a critical defensive play to beat upset-minded Dripping Springs.
With both teams struggling to move the football, Friday night's outcome would be determined by Lofgren's interception with just over 2 minutes remaining in a District 26-6A clash of unbeatens.
The Cavaliers took advantage of the turnover and running back Vann Hopping scored on a short plunge with 1:34 to go to give the Cavaliers a 14-7 victory at Tiger Stadium. And when Lake Travis linebacker Owen Aird recovered a fumble on Dripping Springs' ensuing drive, that sealed the deal in a game that was nothing short of a defensive struggle.
Lake Travis coach Hank Carter said he wasn't surprised Lofgren was part of the game's decisive play.
"Teddy's a former quarterback," Carter said. "He played quarterback growing up, he's a basketball player. He's just a super dynamic, athletic kid."
Lake Travis (7-0, 3-0 in 26-6A) and Westlake (6-1, 3-0) are tied for first place heading into their rivalry showdown Friday night at Chaparral Stadium.
Here are some takeaways from the Lake Travis-Dripping Springs game.
Cavaliers find a way to win
Lake Travis hardly resembled the offensive unit that had averaged 51.5 points heading into the Dripping Springs. The Cavaliers finished with a meager 189 total yards but scratched for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to win it.
No one played any better than Cavaliers end Carter Buck, a TCU pledge who has been one of the area's best defensive players for two years. Along with fellow linemen Ben Duncum and Pierce Atkins, Lake Travis limited Dripping Springs to 221 yards. Nevertheless, the Tigers carried a 7-0 lead into the fourth quarter after running back Lawson Attaway capped a 75-yard drive with a short touchdown run late in the third.
"Honestly, we should have held them zero points, but it was a great win, for sure," Buck said. "We've got a lot of stuff to fix, but this game was good for us."
The game seemed destined to go into overtime until Lofgren intercepted his pass at the Tigers' 35 and returned it to the 15. With a large Cavaliers crowd roaring with approval, Lofgren said the game was over after he made the play.
"Oh yeah, I could feel it," he said. "The momentum shifted just like that. The game was was so fulfilling, it felt like a movie. I can't even explain it. It was so surreal."
Across the field, Dripping Springs coach Galen Zimmerman's team was handicapped before kickoff. Arizona State-bound receiver Cooper Reid (separated shoulder) and fellow receiver James Montgomery (illness) did not play. When you consider those receivers have combined for 18 receiving touchdowns this season, it might have been a different outcome of they had played.
"No moral victories, but I'm proud of my guys," Zimmerman said.
Guess who's next for Lake Travis?
"Thank God for football!" Carter shouted to his players when they broke their team huddle after the game. His weekly catchphrase will have even more meaning if the Cavs can knock off Westlake on the night that Hall of Fame quarterback Drew Brees will have his Westlake jersey retired.
The coach correctly pointed out that his team will have to clean up a few mistakes. The Cavs were held scoreless through three quarters, partly because they had three first-half turnovers.
"I love the fact that we had to battle right here," Carter said. "We didn't do a lot of stuff right in the first half and still found a way to win. It's awesome."
Lake Travis, which won a state championship in 2016, hasn't had much success against the champs over the past eight years, going 1-7 in that span. At least two Cavaliers believe their team is due to beat Westlake and become district champions, though.
Buck said it should be "a close game." But ...
"If we fix these mistakes, we should have them," he said. "On paper we have a way better team than them."
