Jeff Loftin
After moving to Austin in 2006, Jeff has photographed countless weddings, portraits, events, and now real estate. He studied photography at the California Institute of the Arts and had a BFA in Fine Arts Photography. Jeff lives in Northwest Austin with his wife, two kids, three dogs, and three cats.
How long have you been in the Austin area?
⤜ 14 years. Got here in 2006 and haven’t looked back.
Who inspires you (in general/as an artist/your interpretation)?
⤜ People. They are an endlessly fascinating subject to photograph.

When you were a kiddo, what did you really want to be when you grew up?
⤜ A rock star.

⤜ Taco Deli. Tacos all day every day.

⤜ Center for Child Protection.

⤜ Playing guitar.

⤜ Every day is a new adventure.

⤜ Dave Grohl bought me a shot of Jager once.
What is your go-to Potluck dish?
⤜ Mac ‘n Cheese.
How many states // countries have you visited (or lived in!)?
⤜ I’ve lived in two states and visited 10 countries.
What’s something that has surprised you about being a real estate photographer?
⤜ There’s a lot more to it than just taking great photos.
What is one of the top items on your Bucket List?
⤜ Travel to Ireland.
What’s something that you’re really bad at?
⤜ Painting. Not good at all.
